Brenda Dixon began her career as a Licensed practical nurse (LPN), She is the mother of two beautiful daughters and five adopted daughters, along with 15 grandchildren. She has over 20 years experience working with the homeless, low income, and addicted populations. She entered the field with a passion to reach out and help others to help themselves through motivation and empowerment, helping others to recognize their potential and abilities, and has had the opportunity to help change lives and witness lasting change in behavior and lifestyle.Brenda is a professional addictions counselor (CADC) , An active member of the National Anger Management Association and holding credentials as an Anger Management Specialist-1 (AMS-1), She holds membership in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (2yr) and Phi Alpha Honor Society (4yr), She holds a degree in Human Services and Theology as well., Along with certifications and trainings in Recovery Coaching, Abuser Intervention (PAIP), Domestic Violence (40hr) training, Brenda is an accomplished author of her new book " My name is beautiful" and Founder of the "Beautiful Campaign" a motivational tool to motivate women young and old to be their best. As a self taught line dance instructor, she teaches healthy living and fitness to seniors and adult women and men in the Chicago and surrounding areas. She incorporates healthy living with a good cardio workout, along with a relationship support group that she chairs weekly, which includes a wide range of topics.
